Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title I elementary school with a population of students mostly from different countries. The majority of our students come from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Venezuela, and Cuba. The majority of them have never been in a school setting or have had any type of formal classroom experience. These students are economically disadvantaged and having the essential tools needed to learn will motivate them to be successful learners.

Please help me give my students the tools they need to make learning memorable and enjoyable.

I have some of the most creative and energetic first graders who love to learn through hands on. What better way to learn if not by using fun learning tools such as the sand table, light table, kinetic sand, etc..
