My Students

Do you remember what it was like to watch a movie on the big screen or at the drive in theater, well my students have never had a chance to experience learning on the big screen.

My students are from families that are economically challenged, and many of these students speak another language at home other than english.

They are always eager to learn, and love to learn with hands on learning. a lot of my students attend child care before and after school, while their parents work 2nd or 3rd shifts. They tend to come from single parent homes and sometimes are in charge of the childcare of a younger sibling.

My Project

Having a projector will allow me as their teacher to show them the world projected on the big screen. It will allow me to set up learning stations that they can watch and participate in. It will also allow me to use the game show software that is in sync with our math curriculum. Without this projector, the students have to huddle around a computer screen and try to get something out of the learning.

This donation request will allow my students to experience a learning that is crucial, interactive, and fun so that they can become creative thinkers and learners.

This will also let them become learners that use technology, which is becoming more and more advanced everyday.
