Help me give my students the materials they need to be future scientists.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The child's environment shapes children's development through experiences that they have, which include using their five senses—hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch. Drawing a child's attention to the five senses and discussing them increases understanding of and communication about the world around us.
The requested materials will be used in the discovery/science area of the classroom.
This area can get messy, yet students need materials to explore through their senses. Have you ever noticed how children want to touch everything? This project will give children the opportunity to explore not only with their hands but by using all 5 of their senses in scientific projects and exploration.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
