Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

During these trying times I would love to give my students some positivity. My goal is to send my students some resources to help their love for learning continue even when it seems impossible. My students right now have been doing "distance learning" consisting of packets or online assignments due every week. Many of my students lacked the technology needed and luckily my district was able to provide chromebooks for them to use.

Although the use of technology has been essential, I would love to incorporate some hands on activities to enhance the lessons and to make it more "normal classroom like".

My Project

I am hopeful to deliver these resources to my students to allow for more interactive online lessons. I currently do virtual lessons however many of my students are struggling to find tools to help their learning at home.

With this care package I hope to bring a smile to their face and some familiarity to our lessons.

In my classroom I find interesting ways to allow for interaction and learning and these items will allow for the students to demonstrate their knowledge but also allow for a more successful environment to complete the assignments!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
