it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
To make sense of daily meaningful learning, I hope to broaden my students unique individuality to enhance our classroom environment and allow them to demonstrate their understanding by building and modeling some of the concepts they learned. Many adults today can recall spending hours building something with Legos as kids. Little did we know that we were actually learning while we were playing. Recently the incorporation of Legos into Mathematics lessons has increased as educators have started making the connection between learning and Legos. My goal for this project includes using Legos as tools to engage students in meaningful hands-on STEM learning experiences. I envision students having fun while using Legos/Duplos as manipulatives for fractions, using them to create or model graphs, modeling addition and subtraction, measuring and many other purposes.
