Help me give my students opportunities to enrich their learning with small group math and phonemic awareness intervention activities such as Fishing for Sight Words and Count and Link.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school, where 100% of my students qualify for free lunch. Every day my Kindergartners walk into the door ready to learn. In the morning they come in with bright attitudes and great smiles that brighten my day. Although they are faced with many challenges, each and every one wants to learn. For most of them, my classroom is the beginning of their educational endeavors and I want this experience to be one they can always remember.
My Project
This is our new learning rotational train where we are incorporating small group learning center resources to help me as a teacher engage all of my students in learning activity stations while working on similar educational learning target goals.
Incorporating learning stations will allow my classroom to become a rotational learning environment of diverse learning with higher educational outcomes.
Students will be able to spend greater and effective time working on personal goals in smaller settings with friends who share the same goals than the whole group that may not meet everyone's needs.
I believe having a rotational learning environment will have my students ready, set, and ready to learn each and every day.
