This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My job is to create an educational environment that is warm and safe for my students. I want their learning experience to be meaningful and exciting!
My students are thriving learners who are ready to be engaged in the journey of learning!
Our school is IB. We apply the core principals of the IB curriculum to develop our students into global learners. Our students are encouraged to apply their learner profiles at school and their home environment.
My Project
The document camera will allow my students to take virtual field trips to enhance their learning experience. It will provide me with a way to entertain my students by modeling lessons in a fun, creative, way. My students will be also able to explain their learning to their peers by demonstrating hands-on manipulatives, Power Points, and learning websites and games.
The document camera will provide an avenue to assist in creating real world experiences.
Many of my students have not had the opportunity to travel outside of their own home. My goal is to provide as many opportunities where they can learn about different places, people, and resources. The connections will allow my students to increase their reading and interpersonal skills.
