Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students arrive each day with a hardy thirst, and a great desire to learn! I'm always amazed at the natural instinct that all children have when given the opportunity to experience new concepts by using their senses. There are so many tools and activities that are necessary to assist with instruction. I would love to see the sparkle in my students' eyes as they embark upon new and exciting lessons to broaden their horizons. My goal is to enlighten my students!

My Project

All the items I have chosen will be very beneficial for my classroom!

The headphones will help the students to concentrate more and not be distracted by other classmates who are using the computers.

The leveled library of books will help to complete our library with new and exciting stories for the students while learning to read.

Finally, the listening and speaking activities will assist the students with listening skills, comprehension, and following directions. These items will be a special highlight in our classroom. My students are going to be excited just as I am.
