Learning While Having Fun!

My Students

My students are affected by the coronavirus pandemic. They were on a routine, learning, and having fun in the classroom. During this time, it has been a challenge to keep my students engaged.

My students will benefit from having some kinetic sand, games, and other fun activities to help them through this pandemic.

Preschool Intervention (PSI) is a program that actively seeks to locate and identify children 3-5 years, who may have developmental delays, and in need of special education and related services. My classroom is where many of my students are at school for the first time.

My Project

I never imagined that I would find myself remotely teaching from home, and that my students would be learning material through video conferencing calls and recorded home videos. We are charging forward and looking at it as a learning opportunity for all!

The felt sets and books included in this project would serve as a tool that I can use during Zoom meetings.

My students love when I read to them. I was teaching sequencing and having the felt pieces will help me teach this skill. The other materials included in this project will help me teach sorting and patterns. They also will be able to use the art supplies to draw and send pictures to our Class Dojo. I will also be able to use it with future classes in the classroom during carpet time work or in small groups.
