Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to class each day eager to learn something new each day. They are full of questions and always have something new to talk about with each new topic we learn about in class.

Their little brains are filled with so many amazing things that you wouldn't imagine 5 & 6 yr olds already knew.

These first 3 weeks of school have been a joy getting to know my students. The learning styles are so different between them all and yet they all have so much to bring to our classroom. I am excited to be apart of helping their little brains grow bigger.

My Project

The I-pads will make a difference because I will be able to use them at reading and math stations. The students can show the work they've done at each station by using an app called Seesaw which allows their parents to see work and activities they've done in class (which I've approved first). I can also take videos through Seesaw of different activities we do in class and send to parents. It is a wonderful way to virtually allow parents into the classroom who have to work and can't always make it to after-school activities. I will also be able to read word problems to my students in their math stations and read books for the reading station using the I-pads.
