My Students

I get the pleasure of teaching 45 kids a day in a Pre-K to 8th grade building in the middle of a rural Amish community. As a school, we work hard to build relationships with students and families to engage all parties in the learning experience. In my classroom we sing and dance all while learning to the best of our abilities. The students are full of love and love to learn. I want to provide them with materials and ways to improve upon their learning experiences.

My Project

A document camera would be such an asset to my students! Every day I would use this camera to show worksheets from math instead of making copies. I no longer would need to write directions or examples on the marker board. I can write them directly on the worksheet, which would lead to a lot less confusion! I look forward to having a document camera during my read aloud time too. By displaying the book, I can show the entire class specific text features, grammar examples, punctuation, and my students will be able to track the words as I read them!

A document camera would provide my students with the high quality educational opportunity that they deserve!

I don't want them to miss out on ANYTHING that I am teaching to them. My students deserve the best and with this document camera, I feel that I am providing them with the best that I am able! My students and I THANK YOU SO MUCH for your consideration!!
