This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students enter my classroom ready to take on the day. They leave all their worries behind and continue to have a smile on their faces. They love to write creative stories and read all of the new books that were given to us.

My students are a community of learners inside of the classroom and my wish is for them to continue learn to adapt in the real world.

They all learn new things in a different way. I am so proud of how far they have come and can't want to witness their continuous growth.

My Project

A document camera would be such an asset to my students! By displaying the book, I can show the entire class specific text features, grammar examples, punctuation, and my students will be able to track the words as I read them! This will be extremely beneficial as I teach my students how to decode words, read with expression and develop fluency!

A document camera would provide my students with the high quality educational opportunity that they deserve!

I don't want them to miss out on ANYTHING that I am teaching to them.

We also need some curtains to cover the classroom width storage closet/coat closet. I included curtains that the students could use as resources. There is a map of the world, multiplication chart, the solar system and a quote from Dr. Seuss because we all could use some Dr. Seuss wisdom in our lives.
