Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an inquisitive, self-motivated, inspiring, active, and amazing bunch of students.

They inspire me to be the best teacher that I can for them because of their love and passion for learning.

They love to read, sing, be creative, explore, and participate in activities that keep them fit. They love to learn new things, such as coding and the newest technology, and challenge themselves to be the best they can be.

My students and I are learning from home. Even though our circumstances are difficult, they have remained positive. As of now, we are using devices and some are outdated. The resource that I am requesting will help me to teach remotely more effectively.

My Project

In this uncertain time, the one thing my students can be certain about is that I am here for them. Even though we are not in the same space, we can still connect with each other. Teaching my students remotely has been rewarding and difficult, to say the least. The computer that I have has been working slowly and at times will not connect to the internet when I am video conferencing with my students.

It is important that the technology I am using can connect when it is most important.

That is why we need an updated computer, such as the HP Pavilion 360 laptop, that can handle the latest apps and programs that we need for remote learning and teaching.

I want to continue to be there for my students as we are learning together at home. Being able to video conference with my students consistently will give them a constant in this uncertain time. Thank you in advance for your support. I know my students will be very appreciative.
