Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a classroom full of Amazing 1st Graders. We are a low income school located in the southwestern part of the United States and service about 600 students We want to be able to help our students achieve their academic goals and many times share their experiences and learning at the rug.
We are Social Butterflies.
We are eager to learn and yes.... socialize at the rug. In my classroom, we get together at the rug every day to talk about the calendar and weather, to talk about reading (high frequency words, vocabulary, phonics), to talk about things that are happening with all of us.
We are asking donors to help us buy a new rug so that we can continue to meet and discuss learning and experiences.
