My students come from a low socio-economic background and are not always able to have the opportunity to play and build with others.
COVID-19 has impacted their learning because we had to go through Distance Learning as well as working with shields.
They have not had the opportunity to interact closely with each other due to COVID-19.
Providing the students with read a loud books that promote Healthy Habits as well as encouraging Social-Emotional Learning will make them aware of choices that they make in their lives. This will help with their communication skills as they work together with the floor puzzles and magna-tiles. They can use the white board markers to help them practice their writing skills with their partners.
