This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have just had our sewing machines funded by generous donors. Now we would like the supplies to make some pillows for our family or friends. These students are excited to try something new, most of them have never had a chance to use a sewing machine or make something themselves.

They will be excited to choose fabric and sew and stuff their pillows to share with someone they love.

The supplies we are requesting will be enough for each of the students to make one or two pillows to gift to someone important to them. They will get to experience the joy of giving, receiving and creating all in one project.
