My Project

What I love most about my students is their eagerness to learn and their resilience. Every day, they show up curious, determined, and excited to take on new challenges—even when reading feels hard. Many of them come from diverse language backgrounds or have limited access to books at home, but they never give up. They cheer each other on, celebrate every small victory, and light up when they crack a new word or finish a story. It’s those moments that remind me just how capable and full of potential they are.

That’s why I’m asking for the Hooked on Phonics Classic Learn to Read Kit.

This resource will give my students structured, step-by-step lessons that build skills in a way that feels achievable, engaging, hands-on materials like storybooks, flashcards, and stickers to make learning interactive and fun, and confidence, because when kids see themselves progressing, they believe in their ability to read

For many of my students, this will be their first consistent exposure to a research-backed phonics program. It’s not just about learning sounds and letters—it’s about unlocking a lifelong love of reading.
