Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love that all of my students are dedicated, hardworking and always eager to learn when they come to school. They all come from diverse backgrounds which makes them all very special in their own ways. I love being their teacher and getting to watch them grow and learn throughout the school year.
My Project
When you are trying to learn the norms of school in a different country, and adjust to school and a new language, things can be very overwhelming at first. As an English Language Learner Educator it is my job to try and assist my student in learning the English language and becoming adjusted to their new school and social norms.
These requested word to word dictionaries will serve as a wonderful tool for my students to use to try and make them feel more comfortable in the classroom, while learning the English language.
I would love for my students to be able to have these dictionaries as a resource for them to use whenever they need.
