This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are exceptionally hard workers. Many of them come from backgrounds in which they have to work part-time jobs, take care of their families, as well as manage their academics and extra-curricular activities.

My students continue to change my life daily.

Many people often think a classroom is centered around a teacher teaching students, but the truth is, I learn more about hard work, dedication, and persistence everyday I am around them. Please continue to support my amazing and dedicated musicians in whatever we may need!

My Project

I would like to expose my students to different avenues of performance on their instrument. They already excel in their performance and practice of classically composed music. It is time for them to use their talents to explore the trend of looping on their instruments. We currently have no equipment available to us at our school to explore this, so this looping pedal will get us started and hopefully allow them to continue to delve deeper into this world, allowing them to maximize their creative ability.

A well rounded music education should expose them to many different worlds and creative opportunities.

This pedal and loop station will help them dive into different styles and genres of music, as well as utilize a different set of skills not always available in their classical music world!
