My Project
My beginning learners are entering school for the first time, and many of them are using writing instruments for the first time.
Please help to provide my class with pencils, markers, and crayons that will be easy for them to hold and maneuver so that they may learn to write.
Using a tripod grip, or grasping your writing instrument with three fingers, does not come naturally to all children and many must receive explicit instruction. These specially designed pencils, pens, and crayons will not only allow for all students, even those with fine motor issues, to access writing materials but will also encourage them to use a tripod grip and begin developing good writing habits.
