Learning To Code

Help me give my students the opportunity to experience coding. The dash robot will allow my students to be able to learn coding in a fun and hands-on way.

My Students

I have two classes of math and science students. They come from a variety of backgrounds, family situations, and socio-economic status. They have varying ability from below grade level to on grade level, to above grade level, some are even two to three grade levels above where they need to be. However, they all love to learn and especially love math and science.

My students are a great group of kids who love to learn using hands-on techniques.

They love to learn through playing games and small group instruction. They work hard and are curious about what they are learning.

My Project

I am starting a STEM club at my school and want to get my students interested in learning about coding. The Dash Bot will allow students to experience coding in a unique way.

Students will have to use their problem-solving skills and teamwork to achieve the goal that they set for their robot.

It is important for students to have this opportunity because this is where our future is headed. I hope that students will discover an interest in how and why things work.

I also want my students to have the opportunity to use their thinking skills, communication skills while working towards a common goal with their group. The Dash Bot would allow them to do all of those things and more.
