Learning to Code with Robots!

My students need Botley the Coding Robots and the included accessory packs to start learning coding as early as kindergarten. These robots can teach the basics of coding, and handle more complex codes as well.

My Students

Our school is located in a suburb of Denver, Colorado. It has over 50% of students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. The kids are eager to learn, and are especially interested in technology.

As teachers, we are trying to teach our kids the tech skills they will need to thrive in a 21st century work environment, even though we lack the funding to buy many needed resources.

Your donation will help children in our building learn to write code.

My Project

We want to bring our library and available offerings up to 21st century standards! With five Botley the Coding Robots and their included accessory packs, our kindergarten through 3rd grade students will be able to learn the basics of coding. We hope to begin by creating a before or after school coding club to help interested kids learn this important skill.

Once students learn the basics of coding with Botley, they can use this same kit to move on to more challenging projects.

The kids will then be able to do more advanced coding projects later on in elementary, middle and high school. By funding this project, you will help set the foundation for years of STEM learning! Botley the Coding Robot is the first classroom-appropriate early coding robot to be STEM approved by STEM.org.
