This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My children are between ages three and five. They are energetic. I need supplies to keep them busy all day. They like to use hands-on materials and building with each other.

The children like to build and play together in the block area.

They love to use different types of blocks especially the magnetic tile blocks and the Legos.

When they are building, their imagination comes out and explores not only building, but they learn math, science, social studies and art.

My Project

If my project is funded, my children will build and learn about magnetic and how things attract. It will be great material for my students to learn and enjoy hands-on.

They will learn different ways to play, different ways to use their fine gross motor skills and different ways to travel and balance inside and/or outside.

They will learn hand/eye coordination, bouncing, catching and how to share.

When they learn different ways to travel, they can learn by running, walking, skipping, etc.

Learning fine gross motor skills, they can learn to throw, catch, bounce and pass with friends.
