My Students

My students have special strengths and needs, but there is one motivating force that keeps my students engaged in learning: technology!

My students are motivated each day by learning, and technology is one of the keys to their success inside the classroom!

My school is an international school located in the heart of Chicago. My students have learning differences that are met in both the inclusion classroom and my resource room. It's important that time is made for every child to receive differentiated instruction and individual instructional time in a hands-on way!

My Project

Having a laptop in the classroom will help to engage my students in learning through technology. My students will be able to listen and read e-books, access learning websites, play learning games, and watch educational videos from any classroom around the school! A laptop will also enhance my ability to closely focus on my students' Individualized Educational Goals by providing one-on-one instruction during literacy and math centers.

This laptop will help my students with their reading, math, and writing skills.

It will also increase confidence, motivation, student achievement, and best of all, the love of learning!
