Education has become more and more digital in a post COVID-19 world. While technology can be a great tool for education, it is also important for kids to spend time away from the screen. This year, I want a better balance between digital and physical learning activities.
Help me teach my students that learning can be fun and engaging without technology.
The games and STEM supplies will be used during inside recess time, and free time as a way to connect with their peers, have fun and stay unplugged. The storage boxes will keep these materials in better condition, so they last for years to come. The oil pastels, scissors, construction paper, and playdoh will be used to engage them in art. The mailboxes will allow a place for watercolor projects to dry. The poly envelopes will hold task cards and games to make practicing math skills more engaging. The microfiber pads will make excellent whiteboard erasers so they can calculate solutions during these games. The tickets will be used as a rewards system to help students use all of these materials appropriately. Thank you for helping our classroom.
