My Project

The impact of COVID-19 on my current 4th grade class, like all students, has been significant and multifaceted. These students have had a disruption of their learning, which has resulted in an educational gap. The Scholastic News digital content will be used with our extended learning groups. They will explore how non-fiction texts present information to help students engage with real-world topics. Students will also analyze these texts to help them develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. Students will also develop research skills and learn how to gather information from a variety of texts.
