This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Using these instruments, my student who have a hearing loss, will be able to further develop their listening skills. Auditory development is crucial for students who have a hearing loss. By donating these instruments, my students will be able to imitate what they hear me play using these instruments. My students will be able to demonstrate the ability to count by counting the beats being played on the drum.
For some of my students this will be the first exposure to musical instruments.
This exposure will increase their knowledge and vocabulary to different and fun school subjects. Thank you so much!
