My Students

I will be looking at a room full of 22 excited, anxious little faces starting on September 7th! This is my second year as a lead teacher and I can't wait to meet my students. I work in a Title I school where 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. They deserve the best materials and resources in their classroom! I want school to feel important and exciting for them every day. When they walk into their classroom everyday, I want them to feel at home!

My Project

Every day during writers' workshop, at least five students ask if they can share their work during our "author's share." Students love coming up to the document camera and seeing their hard work projected onto the board for all of their classmates to see. They ask for constructive feedback and learn from their peers. The only issue is that we have had some scary moments while trying to fit student work, the document camera, the projector and a laptop on a small table. We are so thankful for the technology that we have and we are looking for a cart to protect it and make it easier for us to share our work!
