Learning Through Technology: Having the Resources Necessary

My students need an Ipad and case, and 10 headphones to have Ipad and computer workstations during our center time.

My Students

I have a diverse group of students with a wide range of needs. They are a loving, caring, group who work together to accomplish goals. Students who struggle are able to count on others to assist them.

In our class, we want to be like lighthouses, lighting the way for others, and helping them find their way in life.

:) Sometimes, these students need extra motivation or direction, but we are in this together! I have an amazing group of kids.

My Project

During our Daily 5 time, students are given the opportunity to practice their language skills on technology. We currently have 5 Ipads, which is often not enough for every child to have an Ipad. We also have other technology that students in our classroom use (chromebooks) without enough headsets. Having a headset for each electronic device would be great for keeping the sound level down on learning activities so that all students can focus on what they are doing.

Your generous donation to our project will help students to be able to use classroom technology in an effective way to accelerate learning.

Having the funding for this project will create a necessary change in our classroom environment to facilitate the most learning possible!
