The students who take my engineering and robotics classes are a part of a large, urban school and come from many different cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. However, these pieces of their identities do not define them.
The students who take my classes are curious, creative, and in general, they are thinkers.
They come in every day willing to learn and be challenged. They are future engineers and scientists, and I want to help start them off on the right foot.
My Project
Storylines are an exciting way for students to learn as they guide their exploration through class by asking questions to dig deeper into topics. The students in our Earth and Space Science (ESS) classes need materials to help them get started with this powerful way of learning.
Allowing students to explore Earth and Space Sciences through asking questions will spark imagination and new interests in the world around them.
Having access to resources on Teachers Pay Teachers will ensure that our ESS team is off to a strong start with developing lessons and the various Post-it notes and flip charts will allow for students to record their questions as they explore new topics.
