it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am writing this Donors Choose to enhance our junior high special education classroom with some awesome books and magazines. My students are a diverse group with unique learning needs, and I believe that the right reading materials can make a big difference in their engagement and literacy skills.
Currently, our classroom library is a bit limited, and we could really use more books and magazines that cater to different interests and reading levels.
Many of my students struggle with traditional texts, so having a variety of engaging options is crucial. Plus, reading can be a fun way for them to connect with topics they’re passionate about!
