There is nothing like learning outside with your friends. Our school is down the block from a beach, which allows for plenty of fresh air and sunshine at the beginning and end of the school year.
Since the weather is starting to become warm again, we have been brainstorming ways that we can bring our learning beyond the classroom.
In addition to taking our traditional classroom supplies outside, the items in my project will give students the chance to increase their physical fitness and help with energy management. They will also support children's creative side and help with their social and emotional development. Communication and teamwork will be strengthened amongst one another.
The wagon will help us carry these materials to and from the beach and playground and the sunscreen, lip balm, tissues, and hand sanitizer will keep us clean and safe.
