This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Play is extremely important in early childhood development! In our classroom, students use play to meet critical milestones while building pre-reading and pre-writing skills with a focus on language development.
As a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten teacher, I see the crucial impact play has on students’ readiness skills.
Through dramatic play, the students are exploring language, learning about socialization, building social-emotional skills, practicing problem solving, and so much more! They are building cognitive skills, thinking creatively, and using their imaginations.
Please help us in acquiring this learning tool for our classroom!
