While enjoying it, students worked on language skills, turn-taking, and academic concepts. The magnetic block area was another favorite, where students explored creating structures through both imitation and imagination.\r\n\r\nWe set up our sensory tools in the quiet corner, and students especially enjoyed using them to regulate and unwind after a busy school day. The fire department toy also received a great deal of interest and inspired meaningful play. Across all of these materials, we saw growth in so many areas of development for each child.\r\n\r\nOur frogs were a huge hit as well and are safely placed so students can observe, explore, and discover. Everything you provided has been nothing short of amazing, and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity.\r\n\r\nEven the bubble wrap from the packages didn't go to waste—we saved it and turned it into a fun jumping activity! Students work together to build the tallest structure and they LOVE building \"zoos\", with spaces for individual animals. We loved introducing the new toys to our little ones. We were able to introduce new items weekly so that we could show the items to students (as not to overwhelm with too many) and provide visuals to support choices. We were able to work on taking turns, using language, and waiting. \r\nThe addition of pretend play items were perfect in our kitchen area. The magnetic ice cream with scoopers enhanced our play time and allowed students to engage with others in highly preferred activities. We also have a dessert area in our kitchen where our students get to decorate pretend cupcakes. Our light table center has attracted our future engineers as they create roads and buildings.
