My Students
Each day, second graders depend on us to teach them how to read, write, and develop critical thinking skills that will be the foundation of their education. These students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds. We feel it is our role to provide them with a rich learning experiences on a day to day basis in the classroom.
Some of these students haven’t been together in person since kindergarten.
We want to have time for them to play together and build their social skills with their peers. My students are excited to be with their friends again!
My Project
For many of our students, this is the first time they have been in the classroom for a year and a half. We want to create a fun, safe, loving, and inviting environment for our students. We want to add a variety of activities, crafts, and games to our classroom.
The materials we are requesting will allow students to play games and have positive social interactions with their peers.
We want to be able to provide fun and entertaining activities when we are unable to go outside due to weather conditions. We can't wait to watch the students learn through play with new materials!
