Thank you for looking at our class! We are so excited at the possibility to increase our learning in any way possible. We are a kindergarten and first grade special setting classroom with 10 students. No one student is alike, but we all love to learn in fun and engaging ways.
Our students work hard to overcome obstacles and become the best that they can be despite the challenges they face.
We learn best with tools that are hands on and engaging to work with. Our class has various disabilities, but none of them can stop us from learning.
My Project
This project is designed to help my students continue to grow as learners, and work on social skills. All of these materials have been selected to help students learn and grow both academically and socially. They include a component of problem solving and STEAM related practices.
These materials will allow my students to play, while being inquisitive and working collaboratively.
The light cube will give students an engaging way to play and generalize more academic content. Using shapes, letters, and building new creations will be made even more exciting with the lit up cube. The play kitchen supplies and furniture will further build classroom social skills and problem solving. The oil drip pans will serve as a large magnetic surface for students. They will be able to build words, solve puzzles, and a lot more.
