My students need interactive tools to help them learn basic skills for Kindergarten. The counting cookie jar will help them learn their numbers. The smart pencil will help them with letter and number recognition.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work as a Pre K teacher for children with special needs. I get to work with 4 amazing children who are on the Autism Spectrum. They are 3 and 4 years-old and have Developmental Delays and Speech and Language Delays.
Every day they come into the classroom and amaze me at what they can learn and achieve.
They have many challenges they face daily, but they are amazing little children who I am blessed to work with everyday.
My Project
Having interactive learning games will help my students learn their letters and numbers. Also having toys in the classroom like the trucks and dress up kits will help them learn through play and teach them social skills.
In the classroom they get to have fun and learn through the different materials we use daily.
Having these items in our room will help them develop the skills they need in the future.
Children with Autism need a lot of structure, routine, and tactile items on a regular basis. I am trying to provide a classroom that will have them engaged in their learning daily.
