My Project

This project aims to create a play grocery store within our classroom, providing students with a fun and engaging environment to develop essential learning and social skills. This play market will serve as a hands-on tool to reinforce basic academic concepts while also promoting teamwork, communication, and social interaction among students. Through role-play, students will practice counting and basic math skills. Students will engage in conversations which will help them develop vocabulary and also improve communication. Our market will also encourage literacy by reading labels, making shopping lists, and reading price tags on items. Students will work together and learn to take turns and share responsibilities.

This play grocery store will be a place where students can use their imagination to build social and academic skills in a safe learning environment!
