My Project

Most of my students do not get to experience a preschool setting prior to being in kindergarten. The academic expectations for these young learners are not always attainable from a paper and pencil activity. Learning through play is a safe and effective way to introduce students to different learning standards and help them to feel successful in the academic ventures. These materials will be used for students to create a classroom coffee shop in which they will practice writing words and growing their written language skills, organizing items, making change, working as a team, and allowing them to use new vocabulary to grow their verbal language skills.
