My Project

The students we serve in our self-contained classroom are in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade and have disabilities that range from cognitive disabilities to learners on the Autism Spectrum. This project supports the learning in a self-contained special education classroom. Students in our classroom are non-speaking, so learning through play and exploration develops academic, functional, and language skills - all lifelong skills. With a TPT giftcard, I will be able to provide engaging lessons and activities for students.

We meet learners where they are and unlock their brilliance through play!

The students we serve in our classrooms deserve materials that are designed to meet their individual needs - which we will use the laminating sheets and velcro dots to do. Play-Doh, Watercolors and other toys will be used during learning opportunities for all learners as well as allow students to learn how to play by themselves and with others.
