This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarteners learn best through active hands on activities. When given the right tools my students will build foundational skills in literacy and math while also supporting their fine motor skills .By incorporating play into learning we can make abstract concepts concrete, memorable and fun.

All the materials will be used daily during rotating center time to reinforce all the essential kindergarten concepts.

The goal is to give students opportunities to explore and learn at their own pace, while also developing social skills through teamwork and collaboration. With engaging, hands on options, our classroom will become a space where students can think critically, problem- solve, and grow in confidence and independence.

My students are curious, joyful and full of potential. Many come from low income households and face daily challenges which makes learning more difficult, yet they show up eager and ready to learn. These resources will support their play based environment and nurture their love of learning.
