it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These centers will have our students engaged as they are very hands on. They support small-group instruction and independent practice. With your support, I can create an inviting and effective learning environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and growth in both reading and math for my young learners. The students will get to learn while playing and focus on learning these skills quickly to then move on to more complex skills. We will be laying a strong foundation for future academic success by having students start with number identification and counting. So then they can learn to add items together.
My students are special because they are curious, enthusiastic learners who thrive when given opportunities to explore and grow.
As a Title I school, many of our students face challenges outside the classroom, but they come in each day ready to learn with bright smiles and big hearts. They deserve access to high-quality, hands-on materials that will help them build strong foundational skills and confidence in both reading and math. With the right tools, I know they can reach their full potential.
