My Project
In my time working with children, I have seen how powerful play can be. Sadly, there has been a decline in play-based learning due to increasing academic rigor, an occurrence that puts pressure on both educators and young learners. Not only do play opportunities help support a child's social emotional development but, also, their fine motor skills and overall learning. These engaging and fun learning materials such as LEGO Build Me Emotions and magnetic building tiles, will help provide chances for our young learners to be inspired and creative, to better understand their own feelings as well as the feelings of others, to use their hands and fingers in a coordinated manner, and... to have a blast!
