Learning Through Osmo-sis!

Help me give my students a new game and a case for our Osmo learning centers, as well as materials to create LEGO kits to take home.

My Project

Every morning, our students begin their day with morning STEAM bins. These bins are filled with various activities that focus on problem solving, creativity, and communication. Last year, I was fortunate to add Osmo to our morning bins. Osmo actively engages children in the learning process by combining tactile exploration with technology. Whether a child is a music lover, bookworm, or aspiring mathematician, Osmo has a game for them. What I especially love about this program is that it is able to reach students on a wide range of levels. Some of my students may be learning their sight words, while others need practice with higher level skills. Osmo is able to meet the needs of so many using one program. This project contains a new math game to add to our Osmo collection. There is also a case to keep the parts safe and make cleanup easier.

I was also able to get a large donation of LEGO for my students.

This is one of their favorite stations to do in the morning. The bases and pouches will allow me to create a LEGO kit for each of my students to take home with them. This will allow their creativity to move past just the mornings and into their own homes.
