My Students
My class is a group of hard-working and dedicated 4th graders at a STEM school in Boise, Idaho. The past 2 years students have bounced around from a remote setting to hybrid learning, to full-time learning at school. They have shown incredible resilience as they persevered through so many changes. As this new year begins, I want my students to continue to feel excited about learning every day.
My Project
Last year, I was able to instill a love of reading in my Fourth Graders through novel studies. This year, I want to continue to vamp up the current curriculum with more novel studies throughout the year. We spend 20-30 minutes each day reading, as a class, and students are so engaged!
I'd like to purchase a class set of the book, Ranger in Time, Rescue on the Oregon Trail to help support our Idaho History Unit on the Oregon Trail.
