You should have heard the classroom—the initial squeals of \"ews!\" quickly transformed into fascinated \"oohs!\" as curiosity took over.\r\n\r\nStudents were fully engaged as they carefully uncovered and sorted bones, worked to identify the parts of the body they had found, and made hypotheses about which animals the remains may have belonged to. The level of focus, collaboration, and scientific thinking on display was remarkable.\r\n\r\nBeyond the excitement of the activity itself, we were able to connect this experience to future career pathways in fields such as biology, ecology, veterinary science, and forensic science. As a STEM school, we intentionally seek out hands-on, inquiry-based learning opportunities that both motivate and educate our students.
