My Students
I teach Kindergarten in the Lakewood community, and my students are adventurous. They are determined and eager to succeed in life. They are full of passion and enthusiasm; they want to learn.
Kindergarten is such an exciting and adventurous grade level!
I have 22 awesome and unique students. I love working with 5 and 6 year old. My students are vibrant and excited about learning. It gives me great joy to wake up every morning and go in my classroom and stir their pure minds. My class consists of students who are from different economic backgrounds. Nevertheless, we strive for perfection and try to learn something new every day. I am proud to say in my classroom, we try to make every day count.
My Project
My kindergarten classroom is a time of learning and exploring new things every day! However, due to student engagement, small grouping, and differentiation throughout the class, the students will become overjoyed with excitement and eager to learn. The headphones that I am requesting will help my students stay focus while working in small- groups. The headphones will keep my students focused and on task while they learn new and exciting things. The chair backpack covers will also help my students stay organized and prepared for daily learning.
The majority of the requested supplies will remain in the classroom for school use only.
However, the students will have cut and paste activities that they will need to complete for homework. The students have homework folders and take-home bags that they can use to complete the assignment if needed. The take-home bags consist of scissors, markers, and glue for those students who do not have those supplies at home. But the students must return the bag the following day.
