My Project

My preschool special education classroom contains students ages 3 to 5. All students have neurodevelopmental differences that require special services and supports to access their education.

My students are imaginative and curious and learn best from hands-on learning activities.

I recently had a project funded for a classroom light table. It has been a huge success in the classroom! The students love interacting with it and are building key developmental skills. I am looking to get additional light table manipulatives and toys to foster student learning through various classroom themes such as holidays, seasons, and topics and continue engaging students in learning through sensory exploration. Transparent manipulatives and activities will provide engaging opportunities for students to work on foundational learning skills such as sorting, counting, color recognition, making patterns, turn-taking, and fine motor and language skills. Transparent letters and letter builders allow students to explore letter formations for pre-writing skills.
