Help me give my students Post It Notes small and large sticky pads, dry erase clipboards, Storex book bins, dry erase markers and erasers to create a classroom full of inquiry.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students come from various backgrounds. Students attend an urban, public school in Cleveland. All students receive a 100% free lunch. Many students have dealt with situations that they are not emotionally ready to handle. I have many students that are homeless and the comfort of our classroom is their only safe place.
Our classroom is filled with a community of learners.
With the right tools my students will thrive within their academic setting. I work hard in my classroom to provide my students with the skills they need to feel successful. My students set goals and work hard to achieve them!
My Project
My classroom has become a second home for my scholars. My students thrive in the community environment that they have created through the process of inquiry. This is our first year of learning through inquiry and my students need supplies to help them research the questions they have developed from the curriculum.
Through your donations I will be able to provide materials that my students need to help with the inquiry process.
Students will use the dry erase clipboards, markers and erasers to write their questions they come up with from their lessons. The anchor chart paper and markers will be used to create anchor charts and posters for their research projects. The students will be able to use the book bins to store books and magazines for their research projects.
