Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in a low income school with 25 bright, smiling, third graders. My students are as diverse as they are amazing. I have students who are new to our country, students who don't speak English at home, students who only speak English, and students who are gifted and talented.
We are an inclusive classroom that celebrates our diversity and our differences.
The majority of my students are English Language Learners who have very little English support outside of school. My goal is to make every student feel like they can and will reach whatever they set their mind to.
My Project
I am trying to get resources to help my students learn and practice their skills through engaging, hands-on activities. In order to easily do that, I would like to buy a few resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. These resources will help me easily turn my classroom into a hands-on learning center.
My students crave new and engaging experiences.
I want to give them these experiences while we can practice what we are already learning in class. Having hands-on activities will allow students to really internalize what we have already learned.
